Regional Inter Cricket Champions

At the recent Boys U13 South Yorkshire  Finals at Barnsley Metrodone, the King Ecgbert Boys team had the privilege to meet International Cricket Player, Katherine Brunt.

The players were thrilled to have an International Cricketer as a spectator, and Katherine was equally impressed at the high standard of play from the teams.

The final produced some nail biting games, with Silverdatle taking home the South Yorkshire Trophy and  King Ecgbert finishing as runners up. This meant that both teams qualified to the Regional Finals at Headingly, where King Egbert produced some outstanding play and were eventually crowned Regional Champions – Congratulations!
