Key Steps Gymnastics Success

The Forge SSP Key Steps Gymnastics competition was held on 1^st February 2010, with the winners and runners up from each age group going through to the Sheffield Final held at Newfield School.

Representing Forge at the Sheffield Final were Totley Primary and Ballifield Primary (Y3/4 age group), and Totley Primary and Brunswick Primary (Y5/6 age group).

All teams performed exceptionally well, with Totley Primary (Y5/6) and Ballifield Primary (Y3/4) qualifying for the South Yorkshire Final to represent Forge SSP and Sheffield Schools.

In the South Yorkshire Final they competed against 7 other schools from across South Yorkshire at Kingstone School in Barnsley.  The standard was superb and both teams worked very hard to produce excellent floor and vault routines.

Huge congratulations go to both teams who came in 2^nd place in their age categories, only being tipped by reigning champions Mundella Primary and Carfield Primary (also from Sheffield!).
